What Are Nail Waterslides?
Nail waterslides are ultra-thin clear paper that has water-activated adhesive on the back of them. This paper usually contains designs that are transferred to the nails. The adhesive is not strong enough to stick to the nail, so it’s usually secured with a UV/LED gel polish or an acrylic compound.
What’s the difference between Waterslide Decals vs. Waterslide Nail Wraps…
This is a very simply answer. A waterslide decal or nail decal refers to an image or logo cut-out that does not cover the full nail. It’s usually printed on clear decal paper and can be placed on different colors. A waterslide nailwrap is a decal that covers the full nail. It is usually sealed by literally wrapping around the nail. Generally, nailwraps are printed on a white decal paper with the intention that it will act as the design and polish.
Nail wraps are usually sold using a template that has been constructed based on the company’s measurements to fit certain nail lengths and widths. Sizes range from medium length to XXL lengths. Decals can come in several sizes and with our company, we offer 3 different sizes. Each size is meant to fit on the different nail widths.
